Livermore is a small town located in Humboldt County, Iowa. It was founded in 1881 and incorporated in 1893. As of the 2020 Census, the population of Livermore is 367. The town is known for its annual "Sweet Corn Days" festival, which includes a parade, carnival, music, and of course, sweet corn. Livermore is a rural community with a mix of agriculture and small businesses. It is located near the Des Moines River and has a few parks for outdoor recreation. The nearest larger city is Fort Dodge, located about 20 miles to the east.
